About Wong Kok Siong
Wong Kok Siong has more than 20 years of extensive experience and expertise in taxation serving local/multinational/listed companies in Singapore as well as multinational companies based in Asia Pacific, United States and Europe.
He is well versed in Singapore income tax law and practice and has also advised companies on cross-border taxation issues and use of double tax treaties focusing on areas such as withholding tax and permanent establishment exposure etc. He is also extensively involved in tax advisory assignments and tax due diligence work involving corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and structuring of investments. Prior to joining HLB Atrede, he was a senior tax manager with Deloitte.
Kok Siong is a regular public speaker at tax seminars and workshops on corporate tax planning and withholding tax issues.
Kok Siong graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy (2nd Class) degree, with a minor in Finance & Management, from the Nanyang Technological University. He is an Accredited Tax Advisor of the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (“SCTP”).
