About Braven Tan
Braven Tan is a seasoned audit and financial advisory professional with over 20 years of experience across professional services and industry. He has built a strong foundation through his work with leading accounting firms, including Ernst & Young and KPMG, where he was involved in statutory audits and special assignments for privately held companies, publicly listed entities, multinational corporations, and non-profit organisations across a wide range of industries.
In addition to his professional services experience, Braven brings more than a decade of senior management experience in operations, finance, and accounting within commercial organisations. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of a company listed on the Singapore Exchange, where he was responsible for financial strategy, governance, and reporting. He has also held board-level positions, including serving as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chairman of a Singapore-incorporated company listed on Bursa Malaysia, with manufacturing operations in China.
Braven specialises in supporting companies across China and ASEAN that are seeking listings on major stock exchanges, including the Singapore Exchange, the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, and Bursa Malaysia. His cross-border experience, combined with his understanding of regulatory frameworks, enables him to guide clients through complex listing and compliance requirements.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Braven is well positioned to bridge communication and cultural considerations in regional engagements. He is a Fellow and practising member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and a member of the ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant (ASEAN CPA) network. Braven continues to bring a balanced combination of technical expertise, commercial insight, and leadership to support clients in achieving their strategic objectives.
