About Andrew Tan
Andrew Tan is the Managing Partner of HLB Atrede and has overall responsibilities for the operation of the firm. He is also responsible for the firm’s quality management process and for ensuring that the staff understand the overall objectives of the firm so that they can perform engagements with due care.
Andrew has been a public accountant since 1998 and has extensive experience with the audits of private and public companies.
Before his entry into the public accounting field, Andrew was a Senior Finance Manager in Shimano Singapore. In his 13 years there, he played a major role in implementing the various computerised system such as costing and accounting system for the company and its subsidiaries in Malaysia, Indonesia and China. He was also responsible for the strategic financial planning function of the group of companies in Southeast Asia.
