About Koh Siew Kuen
Koh Siew Kuen is an experienced audit professional with more than 18 years of external audit experience. She joined HLB Atrede in 2008 and has since progressed into a senior leadership role within the firm. She brings strong technical expertise and proven project management capabilities, having led and supervised numerous audit and assurance engagements across a diverse range of industries.
Her core specialisation lies in the construction industry, where she has extensive experience in managing complex project-based audits, including revenue recognition and contract accounting considerations. In addition, her portfolio spans manufacturing, oil and gas trading, real estate development, country clubs, societies and associations, charities and non-profit organisations, as well as the education sector. She has also been involved in selected forensic audit engagements, providing her with a well-rounded perspective on risk management and regulatory compliance.
Siew Kuen has played a key role in large-scale, multi-stakeholder engagements, where she has served as a primary point of contact, working closely with clients and coordinating across engagement teams. Her ability to manage timelines, allocate resources effectively, and ensure high-quality deliverables has been instrumental in the successful execution of complex assignments.
She is well versed in financial reporting frameworks, including Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). She is recognised for her strong technical rigour, attention to detail, and practical approach to problem-solving.
Siew Kuen is a member of CPA Australia and a practising member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. A committed professional and dependable leader, she consistently delivers high-quality outcomes while mentoring her team and upholding the highest standards of the profession.
