Who we are
The present HLB Atrede was formed from the merger of 2 firms with a long illustrious history of personalised and quality service in Singapore, B H Tan & Associates (“BHT”) and Steven Tan & Co. (“STC”).
STC was founded in 1987 by Mr Steven Tan, who was the former managing partner of Goh, Tan & Co., one of the largest accountancy firms in Singapore at that time and a constituent firm of Deloitte Singapore. In 2002, STC joined Russell Bedford International and was rebranded as Steven Tan Russell Bedford PAC.
Set up by Mr Andrew Tan in 2001, BHT has grown organically and through mergers and acquisitions. In 2013, BHT joined HLB International and rebranded itself as HLB Atrede to unify the various practices under a single name.
On 1 January 2023, the 2 firms combined their respective practices to form the current HLB Atrede. This combination is a merger of equals created to enhance the depth and breadth of services available to each firm’s clients.
More than four decades of entrepreneurship and collaboration, together with the innovative and creative mindset of our firms form the foundational elements of HLB Atrede.
